Deion Sanders is running a tight ship in Boulder as the Colorado Buffaloes prepare for the upcoming 2024 college football season and their debut in the Big 12 conference. Amid the nonstop practice sessions, athletes do find ways to let off some steam.

Colorado wide receiver Travis Hunter and safety Shilo Sanders were captured doing a weird dance on the field. Coach Prime uploaded the video on his Instagram and captioned it:

"What’s wrong with @db3_tip & @shilosanders 😂😂😂? These 2 young men will not be starting the 1st game for obvious reasons. #CoachPrime"

In Coach Prime's caption, the phrase "obvious reasons" had a special meaning. It turns out that the Buffs duo were mimicking Deion Sanders by imitating his dance moves. In the 1990s, Deion Sanders was not only a professional athlete playing baseball and football, but he also ventured into the world of entertainment.

If you saw a man in a pink suit showcasing his dance moves in the Instagram video above, that's Deion Sanders himself when he hosted Saturday Night Live in 1995. The Buffs head coach danced to Deion's songs, "It's On" and "Must Be the Money."

It looks like Hunter and Shilo are in for a hearing after their latest attempt to have fun at Coach Prime's expense.

Paul Finebaum isn’t buying the hype that Coach Prime has once again created before the 2024 season begins. Maybe he has seen this film before last year, when an excited Buffaloes team won three games on the trot before failing big time.

He once again tore into Sanders’ Buffs, predicting a mediocre season for the Buffaloes on ESPN’s "Get Up." Finebaum's blunt assessment is that Colorado is on track for a .500 season, a far cry from the expectations surrounding Coach Prime.

"Deion Sanders is a superstar, we all know that. But Colorado is nothing. They're just another school in the middle of nowhere in a third-rate league," Finebaum said.

Finebaum criticized Sanders' approach, especially his attitude and recent altercations with local media. With the Buffaloes set to enter the Big 12 in 2024, the road ahead looks even tougher, and Finebaum isn't convinced that Sanders can turn things around in Boulder.
