Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders played his last college football game in the Buffaloes' 36–14 loss to the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl. The Buffs quarterback is poised to be one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft and has been projected to be picked No. 1 overall in the latest ESPN mock draft.
On Wednesday, the quarterback's mother, Pilar Sanders, posted a video on her Instagram stories of a breakfast spread that she was sharing with her son, who also posted the same on his Instagram stories.
NFL-bound Shedeur Sanders not fazed by criticism ahead of NFL move
The Sanders family has been in the spotlight since they arrived in Boulder when Coach Prime took the Colorado Buffaloes job in 2022 due to their father's fame. Further, quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been criticized for off-field matters like his lavish lifestyle, which has often been splashed on various social media platforms.
During Tuesday's segment of the "2Legendary" podcast, the NFL-bound star spoke to his elder brother, Deion Sanders Jr., about the criticism and whether it will affect him before the 2025 NFL Draft (9:00).
"Bro, what do you expect bro?" Shedeur Sanders said. "That's the thing bro, at this point in life bro, what we are, been through, encountered and seen, just from year to year and the small challenges that we've had to face, of people saying saying 'We can't do this or we're not doing this.'
A lot of the people just try to play mind games with you and try to and play you out of your position and only fools would fall for that type of stuff 'cause how are you gonna tell me what I am or what I am not, you know what I mean?"
The NFL regular season concluded last weekend and the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots snagged the top three picks for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Deion Sanders has been vocal about picking the right team for Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, which has had the added effect of increasing scrutiny on the outspoken quarterback who has been tabbed to be a top-three pick.
