Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes took advantage of their open week to rest before reuniting for a formidable Big 12 challenge against the No. 18 Kansas State. The Buffaloes are 2-0 in conference matchups and 4-1 overall, with their only loss coming against Matt Rhule's Nebraska Cornhuskers.

After their break in Week 6, Colorado's players arrived at a classroom one by one, where Sanders eventually joined them to address the team.

His son, Deion Sanders Jr., captured their arrival and uploaded it on the Well Off Media social media channels.

"Back at it," the younger Sanders captioned the post.

Similar to Colorado, Kansas State is also 4-1 overall with a 1-1 record in conference play. They suffered a loss at the hands of the No. 14 BYU Cougars, who are undefeated in this season so far.

Deion Sanders hails complete team effort after upset win over UCF Knights

Before Deion Sanders & Co. went into their open week, they registered an upset win over UCF Knights at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Florida. Despite being 14-point underdogs, Colorado showcased a complete team effort to dominate with a 48-21 win.

"Football wise, it's one of the first times that we came out and played a collective game offensively, defensively as well as special teams with (Alejandro Mata) hitting that field goal right before the half. That was tremendous. Even the play call right before Mata to get out of bounds, just phenomenal execution," Sanders said after the game.

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders was sacked only twice as he threw 28 of 35 pass attempts for 290 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. For that, Deion Sanders credited the offensive line.

"Shedeur, I think he got touched a couple times but other than that, we ran the damn ball effectively," Coach Prime added. "Really proud. I don't know how many yards we rushed for altogether. Twenty-nine (rushes) for 128 (yards), I'll take that. God, I'll take that. That's what we want.
"We want that kind of balance. We deserve that kind of balance and I know these guys can do it, and I believe in them wholeheartedly."

Wide receivers Will Sheppard and Travis Hunter each caught touchdown passes from Shedeur.

The Colorado vs Kansas State game takes place this Saturday at Folsom Field. Early betting odds peg the Wildcats as 5.5-point favorites.
