Folsom Field saw Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes wrap up a rollercoaster season with a crushing 52-0 win over Oklahoma State. Amid the cheers, the Sanders family had a heartfelt moment that left Buffs fans emotional.

After what might have been Shedeur and Shilo Sanders’ final regular season game before heading to the 2025 NFL draft, the family came together for a touching group hug on the field.

At the center was Coach Prime, savoring the season’s sweet end with his sons and Buffs quarterback-safety duo. Yet, in true dad fashion, Deion paused mid-hug to call out his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., who has been an indispensable part of the Buffaloes, albeit from off the field.

It was a perfect ending to a season that saw the Buffs overcome setbacks and finish with a 9-3 record. Their closing game against the Cowboys wasn’t just another victory but a shining end to one of the most successful seasons of Colorado football.

Colorado Buffaloes’ big win strengthens Travis Hunter’s Heisman campaign under Deion Sanders

The game was a masterpiece in which Deion Sanders' Buffaloes completely shut down the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Travis Hunter’s energetic performance headlined their victory, as he dazzled with three touchdown catches, including a gravity-defying grab with a defender draped over him, strengthening his Heisman case against Ashton Jeanty.

With 10 receptions for 116 yards, Hunter broke Colorado’s single-season record for touchdown catches, striking the iconic Heisman pose after his third score.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders also had a record-breaking day, throwing for 438 yards and five touchdowns to shatter Colorado’s single-season passing record. His chemistry with Hunter was on full display, and the QB’s celebratory finger-counting of Hunter’s touchdowns made it a celebration for the fans in attendance.

On defense, DJ McKinney’s pick-6 and a collective effort that forced four turnovers secured Colorado’s first shutout since 2021.

The Buffaloes now await bowl selection and hold onto slim hopes for a Big 12 title game berth. However, their future looks promising. With Deion Sanders leading the charge, the program’s transformation over two years has reignited pride in Boulder and left an impact on college football.
