Deion Sanders' son, Shilo Sanders, took some time off from his busy football schedule with Colorado to attend DJ Diesel Shaq's concert on Sunday. The Buffaloes' safety was spotted with his teammates Kahlil Benson and Justin Mayers on stage with the NBA legend.

Benson shared a glimpse of Shaquille O'Neal's electrifying event on his Instagram story. The concert was held at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colorado.

Sanders, Benson and Mayers treated themselves to DJ Diesel Shaq's concert after Colorado's 34-23 win over Cincinnati in Week 9 on Saturday. The victory for the Buffaloes was their sixth this season and ensured that the team would play in a bowl game. Furthermore, Colorado, now the No. 23-ranked team in the country after Week 9, also got itself back in the AP Top 25 rankings.

The Colorado players can afford to use the next few days for some leisure activities since Coach Prime's team has an off in Week 10. Sanders, Benson and Mayers certainly appeared to make the most of their Sunday evening.

The Buffaloes will resume action against Texas Tech on Nov. 9.

Shilo Sanders is enjoying a solid season with the Colorado Buffaloes so far this season. The safety has recorded 31 total tackles (21 solo tackles) and a pass defended in five games.

However, Sanders had missed three games for the Buffaloes after picking up a forearm injury in the defeat against Nebraska on Sept. 7. He underwent surgery and returned for the matchup against Kansas State on Oct. 12.

Since Sanders returned to the Buffaloes' defense, he has strengthened their rearguard, and the team now has bowl-eligibility for the first time since the pandemic-shortened 2020 season.

Sanders has been an important member of the Colorado defense, and the team will need him to be at his best if it wants to sneak into the College Football Playoff.

Here's a look at Colorado's schedule for the remainder of the season:

  • Nov. 2: Open week
  • Nov. 9: at Texas Tech
  • Nov. 16: vs. Utah
  • Nov. 23: at Kansas
  • Nov. 29: vs. Oklahoma State
