Apart from being a well-known name in the College football coaching sphere, Deion Sanders is also building himself a business empire. The Colorado Buffaloes head coach has embarked on several business opportunities, including in fashion. Recently, he teamed up with Nike to release his latest sneakers, the Nike Air DT Max 96.
Deion Sanders' sneakers have gotten so popular that it has been sighted in the rap culture as well. Recently, Kendrick Lamar held a Juneteenth concert representing the West Coach Culture. And during the event, we see one individual on the stage rocking the black Nike Air DT Max 96.
In the video, we see the individual dancing and bopping around on the stage with Coach Prime's sneakers. Well Off Media, which is run by Sanders' son Bucky, reposted the video on their Instagram with the caption:
"They on the stage at the Kendrick concert with the DT 96's"
The new Coach Prime collection was released earlier this month. Within a short period, it was sold out, solidifying the hype surrounding the Colorado head coach. After the sell-out, he took to Instagram to share a story with his fans, stating that there will be a restock of the collection with different variations of color in the near future.
"Don't worry if you missed out on this release, Nike had revealed four Diamond Turf 3 colorways, along with Nike Air Diamond Turf 1's coming soon."
Deion Sanders expressed his gratitude to fans for the success behind the new collection release
After the successful release of the Nike Air DT Max 96, Deion Sanders shared a post on Instagram thanking everyone for their support and for purchasing the product. He also spilled the beans by stating that he was currently working on more variety in the collections, which will be released in the coming days.
"Thank you EVERYONE that supported us and purchased our shoes & apparel thru @nike @usnikefootball. We love u and truly appreciate u. We're working on youth sizes as I text u. We're just getting started, i can't wait till u see the other color waves & styles that's coming," Sanders captioned the post.
If Deion Sanders decides to retire today, it looks like he has a well-established business empire that he can delve into. But while fans will eagerly wait for the next drop, they will also be expecting great things from Coach Prime and the Buffs in the upcoming season.
