The Ole Miss Rebels and coach Lane Kiffin were boosted by the news of Ulysses Bentley IV's return to college football for his sixth year of eligibility. Bentley withdrew from the NFL draft to feature one more time in Oxford.

The Rebels announced his return in style on Instagram. The influential running back was pictured driving onto the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium turf in a luxury Bentley car to match his name.

The car had a number plate with the running back's nickname "Doo," and the running back was in Ole Miss blue. The post had musician Kendrick Lamar's popular song "They Not Like Us" playing and was captioned:

"Pull up to the ‘Sip 👀 #ComeToTheSip."

Ulysses Bentley IV a key cog in the Ole Miss machine

In 13 games played for the Rebels last season, Ulysses Bentley IV tallied 540 rushing yards on 95 carries resulting in four touchdowns. He also added 87 yards on 11 receptions resulting in one touchdown.

Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin showed his reliance on Bentley during the Rebels' win against the Arkansas Razorbacks where seven of the game's final nine carries were by the running back. Considering the team had standout RB Quinton Judkins, the reliance on Bentley demonstrated his status in the team.

At the postgame news conference, Lane Kiffin explained the rationale behind relying so heavily on Bentley during the game.

Kiffin said:

"Bentley ran really special today. This program, we maybe don't do it like some other people. If somebody's hot, it don't matter what you did the year before, where you came from, how many stars, what you did in the portal, any of that stuff. And I think you see it by the way we play players. If someone's hot, we're going to go to him.
"He's done a great job, and it's a really great story of a guy that just battles, even when he hasn't been given carries sometimes. Last year he got hurt. So, it's really good to see guys who do things right every day ... and then they play really well."

The talented running back secured the top spot in PFF College's list of mostly highly rated returning running backs in the SEC (Southeastern Conference) with an 87.4 score.

Ole Miss fans will be glad that the influential running back is back in Oxford to lead what is considered one of the most talented recruiting classes the Rebels have ever had to what is forecast to be a promising season.
