Last week, Malachi Moore was seen having a meltdown during the final moments of the Alabama Crimson Tide's historic defeat to the Vanderbilt Commodores. He spent the beginning of the week apologizing for his actions.
Now, Moore is focused on the Crimson Tide's game against the South Carolina Gamecocks — a game that the team needs to win.
There was a possibility that he would not play due to a possible suspension. However, this never materialized, and Moore will be hoping to make an impact against the Gamecocks.

Before the game, he was seen warming up wearing a distinctive outfit of a tank top and a ski mask. AL.com's Patrick Greenfield posted a video on X:
This is a bizarre choice of attire, especially with the ski mask covering most of his face.
However, Moore does not seem to be bothered by that and is focused on having another good performance for his team.
Before his outburst against Vanderbilt, Moore recorded a season-high 10 tackles, giving him 33 tackles made on the season so far.
He will be hoping to further add to this total against the Gamecocks, whose offense has struggled for yards this season.
Nick Saban gives his verdict on the Malachi Moore outburst
Former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban has reacted to the outburst that Moore had during the Vanderbilt game.
On Friday's edition of "The Pat McAfee Show," Saban spoke on this issue, saying:
"Malachi Moore is a great young man, and he’s going to be very successful in life. This was totally uncharacteristic for him, but I think this is an example of when you get frustrated and you get emotional, you make bad choices… I know he’s very sorry for the way he represented himself, his family, his team, the university, but the thing about it is that you can’t take those things back.”
Saban's comments match those from current Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer. They both mentioned that what Moore did was "uncharacteristic" and that "he's very sorry."
But DeBoer and Saban also mention that Moore's behavior was due to his emotions getting the better of him. Some would say that they are reducing the incident to a player getting emotional because they have lost.
If this is true, then the eyes of the college football world will be on Moore next time Alabama loses to see what he may do next.
