Former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban has been one of the mainstays of the Tuscaloosa football scene since her father touched down there 17 years ago.

Known for her passion when it comes to football, Kristen was almost always seen at her father's side as he built a winning juggernaut that won six national championship titles.

She has diversified her interests after her father's retirement, but recently, she posted a clip of herself back at the campus during A-day mingling with fans as the Kalen DeBoer era started in earnest. She captioned the clip, where a fan shouts "Slay queen!":

"Unhinged at A Day. Per usual."

Kristen Saban reveals what Nick Saban is like in retirement

Kristen Saban got married to Adam Setas 10 years ago and have two children, a daughter, Amelie Elizabeth and a son, James who has been pictured on the golf course alongside his grandfather, Nick Saban.

Kristen has shared several times in the past that the family is tight-knit, and she barely missed any games when her father was the coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Often, she would get into online arguments with fans who criticized her father whenever things were going wrong and she would galvanize the fan base with rallying cries when the team stuttered.

During a recent interview with WVTM13, Kristen Saban revealed the overriding feeling from her father's retirement announcement, having been so close to the team for years.

"It was sad, but I think we are at peace with it now," Kristen said. "I don't think I knew what to expect when we came in the day we flew in."

It's not all doom and gloom for the exuberant Kristen Saban, though, and she revealed the added benefits of Nick Saban's retirement to his family.

"I get him on the phone this time, before, when he was in the office, I would be lucky if I would get him," Kristen said. "He said we got to go play golf, and I am making some new friends down here."

If Alabama fans thought that they had seen the last of the duo, they were wrong. Nick Saban has an office at the Bryant-Denny Stadium, where he will work out of sight of the new coach, Kalen DeBoer.

Kristen Saban, meanwhile, was there during Alabama's pro day and was also present recently during the A-day game where her father made a rousing speech to the players and fans.
