After two seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners, quarterback Dillon Gabriel made the decision to transfer to the Oregon Ducks last December. Following Bo Nix's transition into the NFL, Gabriel is now poised to compete for the QB1 spot in Dan Lanning's QB depth chart.

Amid the offseason preparations and training for his Oregon debut, Dillon Gabriel took out the time to host his annual Dime Time retreat. After its success last season as a part of Brent Venables' Sooners, Gabriel recently hosted his first team bonding retreat as a part of the Oregon Ducks.

In a recent Instagram post that he shared, Dillon Gabriel shared some highlights from this year's retreat, which included players from the Ducks' roster, including the likes of Patrick Herbert, Jay Harris, Dante Morris, and others from the O-line. The video begins with a clip of all the attendees of the retreat followed by a short speech from Garbiel, where he talks about having a 'good vibe' during the retreat.

"Dime Time retreat. We are in Grants Pass, Oregon with it. It's gonna be a good time. Good people, good vibes. You know how we rocking, iced out baby. Let's go," Gabriel says.

The video then showcases the Oregon players engaging with each other in different training drills as they enjoy each other's company and have a relaxed atmosphere while training.

Following a few shooting drills, Dillon Gabriel and his team enjoyed the rest of the day engaging in various activities such as water park rides, playing basketball, swimming, and golfing together. The 2024 Dime Time retreat ended with them camping together and enjoying a hearty dinner as a team.

Dillon Gabriel shares snippets from a weekend visit to his former high school

The Oregon Ducks quarterback also visited his alma mater, Millani High School, last month. He used this visit to inspire and motivate the students to follow their dreams and never give up. Before this visit, Gabriel also raised over $250,000 and donated Nike jerseys and new football equipment to the high school team.

In the caption of the post, the Oregon QB talked about the excitement of visiting his alma mater and how he is looking forward to everything he is helping build at Millani High School.

"What an amazing weekend. It's just the beginning of what we are building back home at my alma mater Millani High School! Can't express how thankful I am for the experience I had," Gabriel wrote.

Last season, Dillon Gabriel helped the Oklahoma Sooners record a 10-2 overall campaign. He transferred before participating in the Alamo Bowl, where the Sooners lost 24-38 to the Arizona Wildcats.

Gabriel put up a total of 3,660 passing yards and 30 TD passes along with 373 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. It will be interesting to see if he can help the Ducks compete for a playoff spot in their debut season as members of the Big 10 conference.
