Drew Allar took center stage once again in the College Football Playoff as Penn State took on Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl. Both teams are looking to secure a win in their encounter to make appearances in the national championship game.

Ahead of the game on Thursday night, ESPN's cameras captured a raw and unfiltered moment of Allar passionately hyping up his teammates - running backs Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen - on the field, punctuated by a flurry of expletives.

The College GameDay panel was meant to provide commentary over a shot of Drew Allar, but a nearby hot mic captured his words loud and clear, broadcasting his fiery and expletive-laden pep talk.

Have a look at the moment below:

"You got an opportunity to prove why you two are the best two backs in f---ing America! I would take you two guys over anybody f---ing else!" Allar said.

Drew Allar on NFL scouts' radar despite announcing decision to return in 2025

Drew Allar shunned the NFL draft to announce his return for another season at Penn State in December. This will be the quarterback's fourth season with the Nittany Lions and potentially the third season as a starter.

However, the latest reports are touting Allar as a potential top pick in the draft. The quarterback is reportedly on the radar of a host of NFL teams, creating the possibility of him reversing his earlier decision.

Nonetheless, his return decision didn't come out of thin air. Allar made necessary consultations with people around him before deciding to play one more season of college football. This showcases why there might not be a change despite the buzz.

"For me personally, it was a football decision, and that's how I have always been operating," Allar said of his decision to return. "Me and my family had extensive talks about it and weighed everything, and personally I came to the conclusion myself that I feel like it's best for my future."

The decision of Allar also played a role in the exit of Beau Pribula. The Penn State backup option entered the transfer portal just before the start of the playoffs and moved to Missouri, a decision the team coach James Franklin came to terms with.

"Obviously Drew announcing he's coming back is an awesome thing and we couldn't be more excited about that," Franklin said. "And then, as you can imagine, that also factored into [Pribula's] decision. ... It's hard because I'd love to give both topics and both people the respect and appreciation they deserve.”

Drew Allar’s goal at the moment is to lead the Nittany Lions to the national championship. Whether or not he will reverse his decision and enter the draft remains secondary right now.
