Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders has had enough speculations on the potential draft destinations of his sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders. He made it known on Monday with a stern statement on X (formerly Twitter).

He called out false reports claiming that the Buffs quarterback doesn't want to play for the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans.

Although his response was directed at a parody account, indicating he fell for a false report, that doesn't mean he's having fun with all the rumors impacting his son's draft.

"It will be multiple IDIOTS that will say things that totally aren’t true regarding where I would like @ShedeurSanders & @ShiloSanders to play in the @nfl. If I say it I will say it directly to whom it may concern not a attention seeker. I do know @nflcommish personally! 🎤drop," he wrote.

On Tuesday's Nightcap podcast, legendary tight end Shannon Sharpe supported Coach Prime against false speculations.

"Watch how quick it disappear," Sharpe said of false reports (2:06 onwards).

Sharpe said reporters always want to be the first to report things, sometimes leading to false claims. He explained it through the Mt. Everest analogy.

"A lot of times, people want to be the first to report something. If you're second, well, people don't remember the second guy," Sharpe added. "They remember the first man to climb Mount Everest, the first man to set foot on the moon. It’s not the second guy they talk about. It’s Roger Bannister who broke the sub-four-minute mile, Edmund Hillary who scaled Mount Everest. Who remembers the second guy?"

Sharpe also said that Coach Prime will be "alright."

"He’s done a great job," Sharpe said. "I call him from time to time, and I tell him, 'Bro, you’ve got favor, you’re anointed, and they’re going to take their shots.'"

What was the baseless rumor that Deion Sanders responded to?

On Monday, a tweet from a parody account, "Wesley Steinberg," started doing the rounds on social media, claiming Deion Sanders doesn't want Shedeur Sanders to play for the Cleveland Browns or Tennessee Titans.

"BREAKING: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders has no interest in playing for #Browns or #Titans. This could have major NFL draft implications, Shedeur’s father Deion Sanders will demand his son goes to a big market team with good infrastructure for a young QB," the Steinberg tweet said.

However, it was a false account and the report wasn't legitimate.
