Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and the entire Colorado offensive line made a statement at the post-game press conference following their 28-9 victory over Colorado State.

Sanders, the standout QB, brought his linemen along, calling the team a family and emphasizing how they stuck together. He praised the team’s leadership and resilience after a challenging Week 2.

Shedeur Sanders delivered another impressive performance, throwing for 310 yards, completing 36 of 49 passes and notching up four touchdowns. Hunter, his go-to target, had 100 receiving yards on 13 catches, with two touchdown grabs.

Reflecting on the win, Sanders said:

“It was a change,” people might try to divide, but the team knows better. It was great, it was a change and everything we all got together, understood like we got to do it.
“So that's when all the family and all the real friendship got together. Whenever everybody try to push each other against each other … together we all stayed as a family we always wanted.”

He continued:

“That's just a good example of knowing,” he added. “Like you know, the media regards of what they try to paint anything. You can't put this against each other.”

The line's improvement was clear, giving up just one sack compared to the six they allowed last week against Nebraska.

This press conference was a change of pace, especially after Sanders had criticized his offense in their last game against the Cornhuskers.

By bringing his offensive line to share the spotlight, Shedeur sent a new clear message.

Shedeur Sanders had some choice words for Rams QB Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi

Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders had some choice words for Colorado State QB Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi after the game:

“You can't f*ck with me,” as tweeted by ClutchPoints on X.

Earlier, during the game, Fowler-Nicolosi threw a "too small" gesture at Buffs star Travis Hunter when the Rams were trailing 14-3 late in the second quarter. But Hunter soon got his payback with a key interception late in the third quarter.

However, the Buffaloes' offensive line stepped up in a big way, helping secure a commanding win over Colorado State. Signal caller Sanders shone, racking up 310 passing yards and throwing four touchdowns.
