Hunt did not appear for the Ball State Cardinals last year as he was recovering from his ankle injury. He underwent surgery to address the injury, and the rehabilitation process led to him missing the 2023 season. He then decided to restart his collegiate career with South Carolina this season.
How well has Brady Hunt performed so far this season for South Carolina?
Hunt's performance on the field after recovering from his injury has been modest so far. He has tallied 11 receiving yards for one reception for the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Brady Hunt has yet to reach his full potential on the field. Before his injury, he played in all 12 games for Ball State during the 2022 season. Despite the Cardinals finishing with a 5-7 record, Hunt recorded 498 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns for the team.
Hunt will be looking to make the most of his time with the Gamecocks. He still has two years of eligibility left and can continue developing as a tight end.
