The Colorado Buffaloes had a great Saturday night, outmatching the Arizona Wildcats 34-7. It was a far cry from Week 7 when Kansas State caused Pilar Sanders, the mother of Buffs' stars Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, to see her predictions go awry.

Pilar Sanders recently posted a new vlog on her channel 'PilarSandersTV', giving viewers a glimpse of the Buffaloes' on-field action against Kansas State.

At the start of the video, Pilar predicted that both her sons would have an outstanding day, and her elder son Shilo would not have just one or two, but three pick-sixes in the game. She confidently said:

"My boys are gonna have an amazing evening ... I think Shilo's gonna have three pick-six. Shilo can do it."

However, the game ended differently as Colorado not only lost 31-28, but Shilo Sanders also struggled throughout. As the game ended and Pilar was heading home, the person behind the camera playfully teased her about the prediction she had made before the game, saying:

"Well, we know you're not gonna be a sports analyst because your predictions..."

But Pilar quickly cut him off and said:

"We'll leave that alone. Shilo's just coming back. Trying to get his legs underneath him a little bit. There's no way we should have lost to Kansas"

Before that game against Kansas State, Shilo had actually sat out three games due to a broken forearm suffered during the game against Nebraska. Pilar jumped to Shilo's defense, saying he had only just returned from injury and thus would regain his form in future games.

Coach Prime's tough love sparks Shilo Sanders' comeback performance against Arizona Wildcats

Shilo Sanders' performance against Kansas State didn't go unnoticed by his father and Colorado coach Deion Sanders. Coach Prime was clearly frustrated, describing his son's performance as "horrible."

In a post-game conference, when asked about Shilo's performance, Deion bluntly said:

“I thought he played horrible. I thought he was rusty. I thought he didn’t have his footing. I thought he wasn’t breaking down. He was coming up trying to make the play but open field, one-on-one tackle, with that kind of [running] back, that ain’t an easy task. But, he’s gonna do better. I know what he has in him.”

While Shilo Sanders recorded seven tackles, the Buffs allowed 6.1 yards per play and a season-high 185 rushing yards.

In the latest game against the Wildcats, however, Shilo was good for four tackles, and the Buffs' defense performed much better. It allowed only 4.1 yards per play, 107 rushing yards and a total of 245 yards.

Indeed, the stern approach from Coach Prime to his son seems to have done wonders now that Colorado's star safety, Shilo Sanders, is back in action.
