Deion Sanders always has time for family and close ones. He posted a tweet for "big brother" Keith Ross, a law enforcement officer and former Florida State football player who's fighting cancer on his birthday.
"Happy Birthday to my Big Brother KEITH ROSS from Newberry. He’s always been a man I’ve looked up and he’s always been a mature consistent man. We may lose him soon but I want all y’all to please lift up his wife Vedoutie Ross, she’s going thru 1 of the toughest times of her life," Sanders tweeted on Tuesday.
Ross played running back for the Seminoles from 1985-88, registering 789 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns. Sanders played cornerback at FSU for those four seasons as well.
Coach Prime finished the 2024 college football season with the Colorado Buffaloes with a 36-14 loss in the Alamo Bowl against the BYU Cougars. However, the team finished 9-4, an upgrade from last year's 4-8 record.

Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders in NFL crosshairs after latest GM firing
The Tennessee Titans fired general manager Ran Carthon on Tuesday, just one year after promoting him to executive vice president. A 3-14 season was enough for the front office to part ways with Carthon.
The franchise holds the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, setting the stage for a high-stakes quarterback decision. Shedeur Sanders, the Colorado star and son of Deion Sanders, is among the frontrunners.
Coach Prime has often voiced his opinions about where his son should play in the NFL. His cryptic tweet following Carthon’s dismissal, “WOW,” had the NFL world discussing the possibility of Sanders arriving at Tennessee in 2025 with his son Shedeur as QB.
Carthon reportedly leaned toward Miami’s Cam Ward over Shedeur. ESPN’s Adam Schefter called Shedeur Sanders the likely No. 1 pick:
“Tennessee needs a quarterback, Tennessee is going to be in that market. They've got their chance to take whoever they want at the top of the draft. Obviously, Will Levis did not work out this year the way they would've wanted.”
While Ward’s arm strength impresses, Shedeur’s football IQ and pocket passing acumen resemble Joe Burrow.
