Seattle Seahawks senior advisor and executive vice president Pete Carroll pumped up the Washington Huskies during a spring game practice on Friday.

The former Super Bowl XLVIII champion found himself right in the middle of a practice, leading them through one of his signature drills.

Washington recently posted a video of Carroll attending one of their spring practices:

"It's always been about competing," Carroll hyped the players. "It's always been about competing. It doesn't matter who you're playing. It doesn't matter where you play, what color uniforms they wear when the day that you play if you are the one that's competing."

Carroll led the Huskies in a "jump ball" drill.

“If we're going to do something right, as far as I'm concerned … we need a little competition here,” Carroll said. "Are you ready? Offense (in white jerseys) versus defense (in blue jerseys), this is a big deal. We're going best of three. We're going to jump ball."

Pete Carroll's visit to the Huskies' practice was not unexpected; UW coach Jeff Fisch once coached under him. Despite last season's loss in the national championship game and going 14-1, the Huskies had to replace Kalen DeBoer, who took over the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Washington player Adam Mohammed's stellar performance on the field caught coach Jedd Fisch’s eye

Washington coach Jedd Fisch recently praised the performance of Adam Mohammed, a freshman running back. During the eighth practice session on Thursday, the 6-foot, 200-pound Mohammed showcased his stunning speed and strength by sprinting 49 yards to score after catching a pass from Demond Williams Jr.

This was not the first time Mohammed impressed the coach with his skills, as he had previously run 70 yards to score in different practices.

"Adam Mohammed has really stood out to me," Fisch said. "He certainly doesn't run like a freshman. He certainly doesn't look like a freshman."

With 5,180 rushing yards and 94 touchdowns in his high school years, Adam Mohammed's talent is evident.
