Tre Harris is a key part of the Ole Miss Rebels offense. The wide receiver has been able to keep the Rebels alive in many games with his play.
This week, Lane Kiffin's side faces the Arkansas Razorbacks in a must-win game for the Rebels, if they want to be considered for an 11th or 12th rank in the CFP.
However, the Rebels went into the game without Tre Harris. So, what happened to him?

What happened to Tre Harris?
Tre Harris was ruled as "Questionable" on the Rebels injury report throughout the week, as he has been dealing with a lower-body injury.
This is the same injury that ruled him out of last week's game against the Oklahoma Sooners.
The injury itself came from the game against the LSU Tigers a couple of weeks ago, and Harris has not played since.
There was a possibility (according to Pete Thamel) that Harris would be able to play in the game against the Razorbacks, with the decision to play him being decided just before the game.
"Ole Miss WR Tre Harris (lower body) is expected to again be classified as a game-time decision today at Arkansas. He was questionable on Friday. He’s expected to be limited if he does play. Harris is No. 2 nationally in receiving yards (987)."
This means that he was dressed and participated in the warm-ups, only for Lane Kiffin to decide that he would not play.
The decision not to play Harris will have its consequences. Without him, the Rebels are weaker on offense, as more pressure is put on players such as Caden Prieskorn and Jordan Watkins.
While these are both talented players who have proven themselves capable of leading the main pass game for Ole Miss, having Harris in the lineup seriously helps the team in this department.
Tre Harris statistics in 2024
This season, Tre Harris has recorded 987 receiving yards and has scored six touchdowns from 59 catches.
The 987 yards that Harris has to his name this year is a team-leading number, with his nearest competitor being Cayden Lee, who has 400 yards less than Harris.
These figures show not only how dominant Tre Harris has been this season but also how reliant the Ole Miss Rebels are on him.
Luckily for the team, even with Harris away, there are players who can fill his spot and deliver a good performance. However, they are nothing in comparison to him, and the Rebels will be weaker without him.
