The 12 teams that have made the College Football Playoff have been revealed. As with every decision the CFP committee makes, some people are not happy.
Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt is one of them and after the brackets were released, he took to X and criticized the committee.
"What a horrendous job this committee did...The team that was penalized the most was @oregonfootball and the team that was rewarded the most was @PennStateFball...I guess the Ducks should have laid down in the 4th...Just atrocious," Klatt tweeted.

According to him, the Oregon Ducks were the team that lost out the most with this decision. However, the Ducks are the No. 1 seed and have been given a first round bye.
Things will not come easy for them in future rounds. In the Ducks' first game, they will face the winner between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Tennessee Volunteers. Both are tough teams who are strong enough to cause an upset and defeat them.
This could be why Klatt thinks Oregon has been given a bad draw. The Ducks have been dominant all season and deserve the first round bye by winning the Big Ten championship. Their reward for this dominance is a tough opening game, while other teams face potentially easier opponents.
Joel Klatt thinks Penn State are lucky in the CFP
In contrast, Joel Klatt believes that the Penn State Nittany Lions were luckier compared to the other teams who made the CFP.
The Nittany Lions lost 45-37 to the Ducks on Saturday. While the final score may make seem like it was a tight game, the Ducks led from the start.
Despite losing, Penn State had a good season to make the CFP. The committee has the team as the No. 6 seed and will face the SMU Mustangs.
If they can defeat their ACC rivals, the Nittany Lions will face the Boise State Broncos in the next round. While the Broncos are not an easy opponent and could cause an upset, on paper, they are an easier opponent than either Tennessee or Ohio State.
Klatt is not happy that Penn State has an easier path to the later stages than the team that defeated them.
