What time is Colorado vs. Cincinnati game today?
The Buffaloes versus Bearcats game will start at 10:15 p.m. ET on Saturday at Folsom Field, Boulder. The game will be broadcast on ESPN, making it six nationally televised games for coach Deion Sanders' team this season.
During his weekly news conference, Sanders railed against the late-night kickoff timing but also acknowledged the privilege of having most of the Buffs games televised to a national audience.
"We don't like it, but we do love it," Deion Sanders said. "We're not going to turn our nose up at being on national television. Yeah, we could argue with the time, but we're still appreciative and thankful."
Cincinnati coach focused on crucial game against Colorado
The Cincinnati Bearcats went 3-9 last year while the Colorado Buffaloes went 4-8, which was an improvement from 1-11 in 2022. The programs are both in a rebuilding phase, and a win in Week 9 would go a long way toward reaching their goals.
During his weekly news conference, Bearcats coach Scott Saterfield revealed that he was not focused on the narrative surrounding the game.
"We've certainly talked about where we're sitting in the standings and where we're at right now," Satterfield said. "Game No. 8, playing for a Big 12 Championship, two teams with the same record. There's a lot on the line and that's what we talk about. All the other stuff is what everybody else talks about.
"For us, it's about our preparation and putting together a great game plan. Going against their offense, their defense, their kicking game, and then going out and working on that plan this week and having great confidence in that plan when we go into the game. All that other stuff is for fans and the media."
A year ago, bowl eligibility looked like a far-fetched dream for both Colorado and Cincinnati fans, but both teams are now a game away from achieving the seemingly impossible.
