Shilo Sanders was on fire during the No. 25 Colorado Buffaloes (9-3, 7-2 Big 12) final game of the 2024 season on Friday against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Coach Prime and his men defeated the Cowboys 52-0 at Folsom Field.
During the game, Colorado safety Shilo, who considers himself the CEO of "Headache Gang" (a hard-hitting playstyle that goes well with his role), tackled and retrieved the ball from the Cowboys. He then went down the field and started celebrating with dance moves, trying to imitate his father's - "Deion Shuffle" from his rap song "Must Be The Money."
Coach Prime saw that and posted it on Instagram, comparing Shilo's moves with his own. He captioned it,
"What’s wrong with @shilosanders ? 😂😂"
This is not the first time that Shilo imitated his father. He did the same against Texas Tech in week 11 after scoring a touchdown. Have a look:
Shilo might have played his last game for Colorado in the regular season last week. He'll be accompanying his brother Shedeur Sanders to the NFL next year.
Shedeur and Shilo Sanders tried making Coach Prime and Pilar Sanders walk together
Family dynamics took center stage during the Senior Day festivities at Folsom Field for Shilo and Shedeur. With the Buffs wrapping up their home schedule, the Sanders brothers attempted what they dubbed “the impossible” — getting their divorced parents, Deion and Pilar Sanders, to walk together for the ceremonial celebration.
The Colorado safety revealed the tension behind the scenes in a video shared on Shilo’s YouTube channel.
"Alright, so we're gonna try and do the impossible. My brother just got my mom from the stands cause of the senior day and we didn't know we had to walk. They're not gonna. That's like World War III trying to get them to walk together," he said. [4:05]
Deion accompanied his sons initially but exited before they reached Pilar. Shilo and Shedeur, however, walked with their mother in what remained a family moment despite the visible division.
Deion and Pilar divorced in 2015 after 14 years of marriage. They were also embroiled in a custody battle, which saw Coach Prime win primary custody of the boys.
