Nick Saban and the College GameDay crew are in Pennsylvania to cover the game between the No. 3-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions (7-0) and No. 4-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (6-1) on Saturday.
In the morning coverage before the game, some authentic local sandwiches and fried food were brought out to the broadcast team. Although Pat McAfee and the other members of the broadcast team seemed excited about the items, Saban did not give that impression.
Saban, who is worth $80 million per celebritynetworth.com, had an intense reaction to the food. While everyone else on the panel started to dig into it, Saban looked on with a look of disgust on his face. Before he ate anything, he exclaimed:
"What is this sh*t?"
Despite not showing much excitement for the food, he gave one of the items a shot. He bit into a circular fried item. While laughing from Saban's initial reaction, McAfee told him:
"That's a fried hard-boiled egg." Saban responded by saying, "Doesn't look like one."
After taking one bite, he put the fried hard-boiled egg back on the tray, and it did not look like he was going to have another bite.
Who is on the College GameDay panel with Nick Saban as the guest picker this week?
Every week, the College GameDay crew goes to a different city to cover a different team's game. This week, the team is in Pennsylvania to cover the game between Penn State and Ohio State. Star comedian Keegan-Michael Key is the guest picker for this week's show.
Key is a popular comedian who rose to fame as one of the stars of the sketch comedy show, Key and Peele. He has been a football fan his entire life, and despite living in Detroit, he became a fan of Penn State football at a young age. This was because he had many family friends who lived in Pennsylvania.
Eventually, Key decided to pursue his master's degree at Penn State. Since then, he has visited the Penn State football team several times, even making a previous appearance on College GameDay.
When Key makes his pick for the game between the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes, it would be surprising if he picked against Penn State. It should be a fun show to watch as Key has excellent on-screen charisma that should work off Nick Saban and the rest of the team.
