Shedeur Sanders is killing it at the moment at the Folsom Field. The Colorado Buffaloes are trying to make a comeback in their Week 5 game of the 2024 college football season against the Baylor Bears, and their star QB is leading the way.

As of this writing, the Buffs defeated the Bears by 38-31 in the third quarter. However, that wasn't the case at halftime, with the score 10-21 and Deion Sanders staring down another defeat early in his campaign. Nevertheless, Shedeur had different ideas.

He pulled off a stunning escape, showing his athleticism and football IQ. On a 2nd-and-11 play near his 20-yard line, the Colorado QB appeared trapped as the pocket crumbled. Backpedaling to avoid a Baylor defender, he somehow evaded another would-be tackler before darting across the field for a 15-yard scramble.

The play left fans on social media in awe, with one X user saying,

"When Shedeur uses his feet he's a different animal. Forget Brady Mode. Mahomes mode is where it's at👀🔥."

Another wrote:

“Better prospect than caleb i dont understand how the public doesnt know this.”
“Almost an Eli Manning type play,” tweeted one user.
“this was what I was talking about Shedeur’s legs,” wrote another.
“Shedeur Sanders doing @NFLthings! This play was 🔥🔥🔥 by everybody,” wrote former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho.
“Generational talent,” said another fan.

The 23-year-old QB has clearly got the skills to take his game to the next level. His poise and dual-threat ability continue to elevate Colorado’s offense.

Shedeur Sanders raising NFL draft stock after Baylor outing

Deion Sanders’ quarterback son is quickly making his case as a top 2025 NFL draft prospect after an impressive display under pressure against Baylor. The Colorado QB has helped Coach Prime’s team complete the comeback after being two touchdowns down.

He gave the Buffs a lead with a 2-yard rushing touchdown late in the first quarter. He completed all six of his pass attempts for 59 yards on an 11-play, 75-yard drive, which he capped off with his decisive rush into the end zone.

However, Baylor didn’t buckle and lead the Buffs till late in the third quarter. However, Shedeur pulled off a game-saving throw, connecting with Omarion Miller.

This kind of maturity and playmaking ability under duress is what turns heads in the NFL scouting community.
