Netflix is set to release a new documentary on Connor Stalions & the Michigan sign-stealing scandal, which was on center stage in the 2023 college football season. The Wolverines went on to win the national championship that season but it wasn't without widespread controversy.
When will Connor Stalions’ Netflix documentary be released?
Netflix will unveil its documentary on Michigan's sign-stealing scandal on Aug. 27. This will be in the early days of the 2024 college football season. The documentary titled “Sign Stealer” details the scandal, which was at center stage in the 2023 season, with exclusive interviews.
Michigan's sign-stealing scandal erupted last year, revolving around assistant coach Connor Stalions. The former recruiting staffer was said to have orchestrated a covert operation to steal future opponents' signals across the Big Ten, offering the Wolverines an unfair advantage.
This was apparently without the knowledge of head coach Jim Harbaugh, who has since left for the NFL with the Los Angeles Chargers. An NCAA investigation confirmed Harbaugh's unawareness of the plot, yet he faced a suspension for the last three games of the 2023 regular season.
The documentary is bound to offer more insights to the college football world on the sign-stealing operation conducted within the Wolverines program as the NCAA continues its investigation into the case.
