In Week 8, College GameDay traveled to Austin for the week's marquee matchup between the Texas Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs. The Bulldogs dominated the Longhorns in the game, handing Texas its first defeat of the season.

Where is College GameDay going in Week 9?

In Week 9, the show will mark its first visit to Bloomington, Indiana, the home of the Indiana Hoosiers, for their matchup against the Washington Huskies.

The announcement was made on Sunday on X, which read:

"Bloomington, here we come‼️ Coach Corso returns home to see the 7-0 Hoosiers for our first-ever Saturday College GameDay at Indiana!"

Although the guest lineup has yet to be revealed, this show will be special for longtime panel member Lee Corso, who is known for his headgear picks at the end of each episode, as he will revisit the team he once coached.

Corso coached the Indiana Hoosiers from 1973 to 1982. During his tenure, the team did not have much success, leading it to just one bowl appearance.

That bowl game was the 1979 Holiday Bowl against the BYU Cougars, which the Hoosiers won 38-37.

How have the Indiana Hoosiers played this season?

The Indiana Hoosiers have a 7-0 record on the season. They are one of three undefeated teams in the Big Ten Conference, alongside the now top-ranked Oregon Ducks.

The Hoosiers have exceeded expectations this season, and this week, they faced their biggest test yet against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, featuring top quarterback prospect Dylan Raiola. However, the Hoosiers blew past them with a dominant 56-7 win.

The Hoosiers's next opponents will be the Washington Huskies.

The Huskies made the national championship game last season. However, like the defending champion Michigan Wolverines, they have struggled this year with a team that's a shadow of last season's title contenders.

They rested this week after their tough 40-16 defeat to the Iowa Hawkeyes last week. Beating Indiana could be tough, but an upset might be in the cards.
