While Michael Irvin endorses Deion Sanders as Cowboys HC, Ice Cube encourages Coach Prime to join another NFL giant

Michael Irvin, a sports commentator and former pro football player, has continued to endorse Deion Sanders as the next Dallas Cowboys coach. On Tuesday, Irvin appeared on 'The Herd with Colin Cowherd' and was asked if Coach Prime would consider taking the Cowboys coaching job if they drafted his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

"I believe 100% [yes], and I can tell you, good sources have told me that," Irvin said. "Great sources have told me that. That's all I can say like that without violating anything else."

He has also said he wants to spend time with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to encourage him to hire Deion Sanders. However, on Wednesday, Sanders appeared on a Fox broadcast with actor and rapper Ice Cube. On the show, the topic of Sanders's future came up.

Coach Prime asked Ice Cube about his kids and what he would do if he were in his situation. Sanders wanted to know if he had the opportunity to continue coaching his kids at the next level if he thought that was a good idea. Ice Cube had a fun response encouraging Sanders to join a different NFL team.

"Help them get to the next level any way I can," Ice Cube said. (0:18) "Hey you know, why not? Especially if it's in a Raider uniform. Come on man. Don't get me acting a fool. You know that would be a dream come true for me as a fan of the Raiders. A fan of you. Man! I'm proud of you bruh. What all you've done with all the critics," he added.

Deion Sanders and Ice Cube continue to talk about his future

The conversation between Deion Sanders and Ice Cube continued. As the conversation progressed, Sanders asked if Ice Cube thought it would be better if he stayed in college with Colorado to help kids grow as players and people.

"I'm sure the kids would love to keep you here," Ice Cube said. "I'm pretty sure Colorado made a lot of money while you was here. You would be a king walking around the campus. Wherever you are man, you're gonna be great, wherever you leave, people are gonna miss you man."

Once the serious talk was finished, Ice Cube joked further about Coach Prime joining the Las Vegas Raiders. He said that as the president of Raider Nation, he would love to have Deion Sanders join his favorite team.

The two friends laughed about the situation before moving on to other topics.
