Who is the celebrity guest picker for 'ESPN College GameDay' Week 9?

College GameDay is traveling to Bloomington, Indiana, for a Week 9 Big Ten Conference clash between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Washington Huskies. Indiana is ranked as the No. 13 team in the AP Top 25, its highest ranking since the 2020 season when it appeared as high as No. 7.

This is slated to be one of the best matchups of Week 9, as the Huskies upset the No. 10 Michigan Wolverines back in Week 7. The Hoosiers have emerged as one of college football's biggest surprises this season and are favored in four of their five remaining matchups.

This weekend's installment of College GameDay will bring yet another celebrity guest picker, as the show hosts a new guest picker each week. On Thursday, College GameDay announced the Week 9 picker will be two-time MLB All-Star and 2022 Silver Slugger winner Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Schwarber played baseball for the Hoosiers and was a two-time first-team All-American selection. He was a member of the 2013 Indiana team that went to the College World Series, the school's most recent appearance in the tournament.

Indiana favored at home vs. Washington with College GameDay coming to town

Entering their Week 9 matchup, the Hoosiers open as a 6.5-point favorite versus Washington per DraftKings, with the Huskies coming to Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. Indiana is one of three undefeated teams in the Big Ten through Week 8 (along with Oregon and Penn State), and will look to extend its conference record to 5-0 with a win on Saturday.

This weekend will mark College GameDay's first visit to Bloomington since the 2017 season opener versus Ohio State. The Buckeyes trounced the Hoosiers in Memorial Stadium, nothing a 49-21 win.

The script has flipped for the Hoosiers this season as they look to win their first Big Ten Championship since 1967. Indiana is coming off a dominant Week 8 display versus the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Hoosiers topped the Cornhuskers 56-7 in their most dominant showing of the season in arguably their biggest test of the season thus far.
