The No.9-ranked Missouri Tigers will face the No.25-ranked Texas A&M Aggies in a Week 6 meeting between SEC programs having strong seasons. Missouri began the year with back-to-back blowout victories over FCS-level Murray State Racers and Buffalo Bulls. They outscored those opponents 89-0, however, things have been less steady over their past two games.

While they have remained undefeated, the Tigers survived two close calls. They beat the then-No.24-ranked Boston College Eagles by just six points before needing double overtime to escape with a three-point victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores in their SEC opener.

Texas A&M kicked off the 2024 season with a tough home loss to the then-No.7-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish. They bounced back with a blowout win over the FCS-level McNeese State Cowboys. The Aggies began their SEC schedule with a Week 3 visit to The Swamp, defeating the Florida Gators 33-20.

They continued their non-conference slate the following week, continuing their winning streak with a six-point victory over the Bowling Green State Falcons. Texas A&M improved to 2-0 in SEC play last week as they beat the Arkansas Razorbacks by four points.
