Lee Corso and his picks have once again geared fans up for an interesting day of college football action. The most watched pick every week is the headgear pick, which involves the game that includes the school from which College GameDay is broadcast.
This week, Corso and the team are in Tuscaloosa as the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide plays the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs.
Who did Lee Corso pick in Week 5 ESPN's College GameDay?
For Week 5, Lee Corso chose Kalen DeBoer's Alabama Crimson Tide.
"Alabama's got a quarterback," Corso said. "He has accounted for 14 touchdowns in his first three games. Eight of them passing, six of them running. .... Roll Tide Roll!"
Corso's pick was shared by the entire College Game Day team, who all predicted that Alabama would defeat the Bulldogs.
Alongside this, Corso was the only member of the College GameDay to pick the Baylor Bears over the No. 22 BYU Cougars. Last week, the Bears were nearly able to defeat the Colorado Buffaloes, but a Hail Mary touchdown from Shedeur Sanders sent the game to overtime, where the Buffaloes overpowered them to record an iconic victory.
On the subject of the Buffaloes, Corso, alongside former Alabama coach Nick Saban and ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, predicted that Deion Sanders' program would lose against the UCF Knights.
Other notable picks made by Lee Corso included:
- Notre Dame Fighting Irish to defeat the Louisville Cardinals
- North Carolina Tar Heels to defeat the Duke Blue Devils
- Oklahoma Sooners to defeat the Auburn Tigers
Lee Corso's headgear picks so far
In Week 1, Corso correctly picked Notre Dame to defeat Texas A&M, followed by the Texas Longhorns demolishing the Michigan Wolverines in Week 2.
In Week 3, Corso correctly said that the LSU Tigers will defeat the South Carolina Gamecocks, and last week, the Tennessee Volunteers defeated Oklahoma.
