Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders already has plans for the New Year. However, it appears that Shedeur won't celebrate the festival with his half-brother Deion Sanders Jr. In a YouTube video posted by Well Off Media on Monday, Coach Prime playfully called out Shedeur for excluding Deion Jr., also known as Bucky, from his New Year plans.
While discussing their plans for the celebration on a Rolls Royce plane, Shedeur said he already booked a place for New Year's. When Coach Prime asked Shedeur whether he reserved a spot for Deion Jr. to tag along, the CU quarterback casually denied a booking for Bucky. It prompted Coach Prime to call out Shedeur (Timestamp: 5:54).
"You didn't book your brother?" Sanders asked. "Why you do Bucky like that?"
Shedeur said that Deion Jr. had plans of his own at home, but Coach Prime denied having any knowledge of Bucky's New Year celebrations.
The Sanders trio also shared a few laughs on their journey to San Antonio as Colorado (9-3) gears up for its Alamo Bowl game against No. 17 BYU (10-2) on Saturday.
Shedeur Sanders will likely play final game for Colorado in Alamo Bowl
Shedeur Sanders is likely to play his final game for Colorado in the Alamo Bowl on Saturday. The CU quarterback is then likely to declare for the 2025 NFL draft, where many fans and analysts believe he will get picked early in the first round.
Shedeur finished the regular season with 3,926 yards and 35 touchdowns passing and four rushing touchdowns across 12 games. He was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
It's safe to say that Shedeur will want to finish his time at Colorado with a win against BYU. The Alamo Bowl will also allow the signal-caller to boost his draft stock one final time on the gridiron before going pro.
