The Colorado Buffaloes brought a sense of excitement to college football when they hired coach Deion Sanders ahead of the 2023 college football season and saw both Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter transfer to the program with him.
On Saturday, Bleacher Report created a post highlighting how the Alamo Bowl against the BYU would be last time that coach Deion Sanders, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and two-way superstar and 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter will play together.
People noticed that Coach Prime's other son, safety Shilo Sanders, was excluded from the Bleacher Report graphic and reacted to the omission.
"Why do y'all always leave out Shilo" One person on Instagram commented.
"Direspect for Shilo!!" Another person responded to the Bleacher Report post
A few fans used popular memes to show Shilo's supposed feelings at his exclusion.
Other people highlighted how this is the end of a bit of an era for the Colorado Buffaloes after two seasons of the trio together at the University of Colorado.
"Been unreal. Thank you gentlemen for bringing pride back to the program. Here's to one last ride together for the black and gold!" Someone commented on this post.
Who will be the starting quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes next season?
The Colorado Buffaloes are not going to be seeing quarterback Shedeur Sanders as he has made it known that he will forego his senior season of NCAA eligibility and instead enter the 2025 NFL draft. It is possible that Sanders will be the first pick in the 2025 NFL draft as he has showcased that talent and there are teams with a quarterback need towards the top of the draft board.
For the Buffaloes, there are two options for the starting quarterback spot in 2025 as Liberty Flames quarterback Kaidon Salter has transferred to the program for next season and true freshman and five-star recruit Julian Lewis is with the team.
Coach Sanders is going to need to figure things out in terms of who will be the starting quarterback, but it would seem that Salter would get the first licks at starting and give Lewis a chance to learn the collegiate speed and potentially even redshirt.
