Who will start at QB for Alabama in 2024?
Jalen Milroe is returning to Alabama as their starting quarterback in 2024.
Milroe was the Crimson Tide's starting quarterback in 2023 and helped lead them to the college football playoff. The quarterback went 187-for-284 for 2,834 yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Entering 2024, Milroe is expecting Alabama's offense to be more explosive with DeBoer at the helm.
"We're gonna be very explosive on offense," Milroe said to SEC Unfiltered, via 247Sports. "We have a lot of great talent that's around, whether it goes from receiver room, offensive line room, running back room, tight end room, as a whole that's gonna put us in position to be successful this year.
"One thing I can definitely say we're not gonna be is one dimensional. We have a really good receiver group that all play differently, and when you have that, man, you can't be one dimensional. We have a tight end room that's gonna be utilized in the passing game and in the running game."
Backing up Milroe will be Ty Simpson, who went 11-for-20 for 179 yards last season.
