Deion Sanders Jr., the oldest son of Coach Prime, produces a lot of the social media content related to the Colorado Buffaloes. He does this in conjunction with his media company, Well Off Media. As a result, he is often around the team and even gets access to private team meetings.
On Saturday, the No. 23-ranked Colorado Buffaloes lost the Alamo Bowl 36-14 to the No. 17-ranked BYU Cougars. Although it was expected to be one of the best non-playoff bowl games, the game was not competitive. The Cougars dominated the game from the start, taking a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and a 20-0 lead in the first half.
As a result, some fans criticized the team on X. One fan said:
"What needs to happen for Pat Shurmer to leave this team?"
The fan was upset with Buffaloes offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur's offense performed on Saturday. NFL analyst T-Cal claimed that this was not what Shurmur's offense looked like.
"This is not Pat Shurmur’s offense, not close to it. I’ve proved it multiple times by pulling up his all 22 film in the NFL," T-Cal said.
Deion Sanders Jr. found this post on Twitter and responded:
"Bro wtf do you be talking about... some sh"t you say just be wild af."
Deion Sanders Jr. went on to respond to the fan again, saying that he gets to sit in offensive meetings, so he knows what he is talking about.
Deion Sanders Jr. releases video that shows frustration from Coach Prime and players in the game
Deion Sanders Jr. released behind-the-scenes footage of the recently concluded Alamo Bowl. He uploaded a 20-minute video of the game, which the team did not win on Saturday.
Several clips showed the players and coaching staff expressing frustration. In one clip (2:52), Travis Hunter yells at Shedeur Sanders for not getting up quickly enough after getting sacked. In another clip (11:32), Coach Prime has a fiery reaction to a referee after Hunter is called for a penalty.
