Nick Saban is one of the most well-known former college and professional football coaches in the United States. Hailing from Monongah, West Virginia, United States, Saban was a former college football player. He played college football for the Kent State Golden Flashes at Kent State University as their defensive back from 1970 to 1972. Following the end of his career as a college football player, Nick Saban decided to become a football coach.

Nick Saban started his career as a football coach with his alma mater Kent State in 1973. Since then, he has coached several other teams throughout his career. This included being the head coach of the Toledo Rockets in 1990, the LSU Tigers from 2000 to 2004, and then the Alabama Crimson Tides from 2007 to 2023. In between coaching colleges, he also served as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL) from 2005 to 2006. Nick Saban has achieved seven national championships, eleven SEC titles, and five-times SEC Coach of the Year awards throughout his career as a coach among other accolades. Following the end of his coaching career, Nick Saban took to a sportscasting career as of January 2025.

The house was originally built in 1992 and was then renovated in 2016. It is a 6,200 square foot house and its most notable features include marble floors, floor to ceiling glass walls, a floating staircase, a dock, a boat lift and a private garden.

Nick Saban has another house located in Lake Burton, Georgia, United States as per Bleacher Report. Named "The Pointe on Lake Burton", this estate covers 9,600 square feet.
