The Ohio Bobcats represent Ohio University, competing in the Mid-American Conference. The football program was established in 1894 and won a national championship in 1960. They play their home games at Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio. The Ohio Bobcats have won 12 conference championships and five division championships. The Ohio Bobcats had a remarkable season in 2024. Under head coach Tim Albin, the Bobcats managed to register an 11–3 mark, which was the first 11-win season in school history. They won with a 38–3 margin against Miami in the MAC Championship Game and won their first conference championship since 1968. They also dominated the Cure Bowl against Jacksonville State with a 30–27 victory. The 2024 campaign began a new era for the Bobcats in college football, reigniting Ohio's football legacy.
