The Oklahoma Sooners go on the road to play the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, Oct. 26, at noon EDT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Oklahoma (4-3, 1-3 SEC) is coming off a 35-9 home loss to South Carolina. Ole Miss (5-2, 1-2 SEC) is coming off a 29-26 OT loss to LSU.

Oklahoma vs Ole Miss: Preview

Oklahoma is a 20-point underdog, while the over/under is set at 49 points.

The Sooners are coming off a blowout loss to South Carolina as Oklahoma has struggled mightily in its first season in the SEC. Head coach Brent Venables said after the loss, via On3:

“What we put out there today as a football team is nothing remotely close to the standard here at the University of Oklahoma. Certainly not what we planned for today. My job as a head coach is to evaluate everything, figure it out, and find a way to put us in a better position to be successful.”

Although the Sooners are arguably out of playoff contention, Venables said his team needs to play better:

“The competitiveness of this league, the parity of this league? There is no margin for error. So we’ll need everybody to have a chance to finish the year in a better way.”

Oklahoma is led by Jovantae Barnes who has rushed for 307 yards and two touchdowns, while Billy Bowman Jr. has two interceptions and R Mason Thomas has six sacks.

Ole Miss, meanwhile, has now lost two of its last three games, as the Rebels' hopes of the playoffs are dwindling as well.

"It should never gotten there. You know we should have finished it when we had the ball up for a chance to go down and make it two scores," Lane Kiffin said after the loss to LSU on Oct. 12, via RebelWalk. "And similar to the Kentucky game, they didn’t do that and we put ourselves in a much harder situation, so I’m just really disappointed, obviously."

The Rebels are coming off a bye week, which should help Ole Miss prepare for Oklahoma. The Rebels are led by Jaxson Dart who has thrown for 2,384 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions. Henry Parrish Jr. has rushed for 612 yards and nine touchdowns.

Defensively, Ole Miss is led by Trey Amos who has three interceptions, Jared Ivey has five sacks, and Chris Paul Jr. leads the way with 46 tackles.

This is a perfect bounceback spot for Ole Miss and Dart to torch the Sooners defense.

Prediction: Ole Miss 34, Oklahoma 10
