The Orange Bowl, established in 1935, is held annually in South Florida, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. It is a part of the New Year’s Six, held on or around the first day of the year. It is the second oldest bowl game after the Rose Bowl.
Traditionally, the Orange Bowl has featured teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) as well as top programs from other conferences. When it is a part of the College Football Playoffs, the teams of the Orange Bowl game are determined through seeding.
