While Oregon's season ended prematurely with a CFP loss to Ohio State, the Ducks are winning in the transfer portal. Oregon is adding a bevy of talented players to a program that is one of the nation's best. With a successful season in the Big Ten under their belt, the Ducks have become one of the most popular destinations in the portal.

The Ducks just completed a 13-1 season, passing for nearly 4,000 yards while defeating CFP teams Boise State, Ohio State and Penn State.

The Ducks are among the early winners of the conference realignment shift and could remain one of the strongest programs based on their continued recruiting success. Here are three top transfers Oregon is adding from the portal.

3. Makhi Hughes, Tulane RB

A star in two seasons at Tulane, Hughes will step right into the Oregon lineup to replace NFL Draft-bound Jordan James. The 5-foot-11 running back rushed for 2,779 yards and 22 touchdowns in two years at Tulane. Hughes topped 100 rushing yards 14 times in his college career.

Hughes posted six-game and five-game streaks of 100-yard games in 2023 and 2024, respectively. He's a top-flight prospect whose production should be impressive behind Oregon's talented offensive line.

2. Dillon Thieneman, Purdue S

Thieneman, as the last line of defense for the Purdue defense, has posted two 100-tackle seasons in his first two years of college football. He has amassed 210 tackles, seven tackles for loss and nine passes defended, including six interceptions in 2023. Thieneman also returned punts for the Boilermakers.

Given Thieneman's Big Ten experience, Oregon can plug him straight into their secondary in 2025. He'll have two seasons of college eligibility and provides an imposing Oregon defense with another veteran presence.

1. Isaiah World, Nevada OT

World was one of the top players in the portal. The veteran offensive tackle essentially had his pick of top programs. A 6-foot-8 mountain of a man, World starred with the Wolfpack. An All-Mountain West honorable mention in each of the last two seasons, World started for three years.

The only real downside for Oregon is that World will be a one-and-done player. He easily could have taken his frame and talent to the NFL. Given the difficulty of finding a top tackle in the portal, Oregon probably did its most impressive work of the portal season by nabbing World.
