Even for a CFP semifinalist like Penn State, the transfer portal still hums. The Nittany Lions have been less busy than most teams in the portal, given their CFP wins. In fact, only a handful of players have come and gone from Penn State's program. But here's a ranking of the four Nittany Lions who have already entered the portal before the CFP semifinal against Notre Dame.

4. Feyisayo Oluleye, WR

A walk-on wide receiver, Oluleye transferred in to Penn State from Robert Morris. During two seasons with the PSU program, he did not see any game action. He decided to transfer earlier in the season, but has not yet announced his next destination. Olueye will have one season of remaining college eligibility.

3. T.A. Cunningham, DL

Cunningham had an odd recruitment in high school. After bursting onto the national scene in Georgia, he was back and forth among multiple high schools. A three-star recruit, Cunningham has spent one season at Penn State and didn't see any game action. He has redshirted and thus will take four years of eligibility to his next stop. Cunningham hasn't announced a decision yet.

2. Jerry Cross, TE

A four-star recruit from Wisconsin, Cross saw minimal game action in three seasons at Penn State. Cross played in only two games in 2024, but had already used a redshirt season. He'll have two years to play at his next destination, which he has announced. Cross will play for Memphis is 2025, where he should have the chance to grab many more reps than he saw at Penn State.

1.Beau Pribula, QB

A three-star recruit from Pennsylvania, Pribula saw significant action in the past two seasons with the Nittany Lions. Penn State used Pribula as a running QB, with him totaling 94 rushes compared to 56 passes over the two seasons. Pribula totalled 571 yards and 10 touchdowns on his 94 carries. In the air, he was 37 for 56 for 424 yards, nine touchdowns and a single interception.

Pribula has two remaining seasons of eligibility. He's chosen Missouri as his portal destination. The Tigers will lose senior QB Brady Cook and Pribula will very likely be the next starter for the Tigers. Penn State had given a similar role to Will Levis, who saw stardom at Kentucky. Pribula might follow the same path.
