Penn State vs Boise State prediction & betting tips - Dec. 31 - College Football Playoff

Nicholas Singleton leads the team with 928 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, while Tyler Warren is the top receiver with 1,095 yards and six touchdowns.

Defensively, Penn State is led by Abdul Carter who has 11 sacks, Tony Rojas, Jaylen Reed, and Dominick DeLuca have three interceptions, while Reed leads the team with 84 tackles.

Boise State, meanwhile, went 12-1 and had a bye in the first round. The Broncos' lone loss was a three-point loss to Oregon in Week 2.

Heisman finalist Ashton Jeanty leads the Broncos. Jeanty rushed for 2,497 yards and 29 touchdowns, as Penn State coach James Franklin says stopping Jeanty will be difficult.

“It all starts and revolves around Jeanty," Franklin said, via Yahoo. "In any other year, I think the guy wins the Heisman, and you can make the argument that he should have won it this year. He is hard to tackle. He is compact, 5-10, has the ability to run away from you, has the ability to make you miss. They get him involved in the pass game.

I think it starts and ends with the running back, and I think they do a really good job of not only getting him the ball in the run game, but also in the pass game, but then also using him in play action pass to create some opportunities to get some explosive plays down the field in the passing game. It’ll be a definite challenge for us."

Penn State had a great draw in the College Football Playoff, as the Nittany Lions should cruise to a big win here. Jeanty was banged up down the stretch and his health is uncertain.
