The Penn State Nittany Lions are on the road to play the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday, November 16 at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on CBS.
Penn State (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) is coming off a 35–6 win over Washington. Purdue (1-8, 0-6) is coming off a 45–0 shutout loss to Ohio State.

Penn State is a 28.5-point favorite on the road against Purdue.
The Nittany Lions are in a good spot to make the College Football Playoff as Penn State needs to win and will likely host a playoff game. The Nittany Lions are massive favorites on the road to defeat Purdue.
Despite Penn State being a big favorite, James Franklin says they can't overlook Purdue.
“Coach (Walters) is calling the offense, and as a defensive guy, I think that’s impressive as well as challenging,” Franklin said, via TribLive. “Defensively, this is a team that is going to match your personnel probably as much as anybody we have played. Where they’re different than a lot of teams they’ll go four down and five down. Usually you see four down and three down. They’ll go five down.”
Penn State is led by Drew Allar who's thrown for 2,006 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions. Kaytron Allen has rushed for 634 yards and five touchdowns, while Tyler Warren has caught 59 passes for 681 yards and four touchdowns.
Defensively, the Nittany Lions are led by Jaylen Reed who has three interceptions, Abdul Carter eight sacks and Reed 57 tackles.
Meanwhile, Purdue has struggled this season, and coach Ryan Walter is eager to face an elite team like Penn State.
“That’s what you get when you play in this conference,” Walters said this week when asked about the difficult schedule, via NBC. “You want opportunities to see where you stack and go compete against the best. Nobody is complaining about playing good teams and elite teams. If the goal is to be an elite program, that’s how you get there.”
Purdue is led by Hudson Card who has thrown for 1,113 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions. Devin Mockobee has rushed for 612 yards and three touchdowns.
Defensively, Purdue is led by Kyndrich Breedlove who has three interceptions, Kyrdan Jenkins 5.5 sacks and Dillon Thieneman 75 tackles.
The Boilermakers have struggled mightily this season as Purdue struggles on both sides of the ball. Penn State's offense will be able to move the ball at will and cruise to a lopsided win.
Prediction: Penn State 37, Purdue 7.
