In this game against the Clemson Tigers, Quinn Ewers completed 17-of-24 (70.8%) of his passes for 202 yards with one passing touchdown and one interception. While he still has NCAA eligibility after this season, his time as a Texas Longhorn might come to an end after the session and the 2025 NFL draft could be his next selection.

Let's take a closer look at Quinn Ewers' draft stock and discuss where he could end up if he were to choose to forego his NCAA eligibility.

Quinn Ewers 2025 NFL Draft Stock

One thing is certain in the NFL draft, there are always teams that need to figure out answers at the quarterback position. Whether it is having a rookie quarterback sit behind an experienced quarterback to learn the ropes like Michael Penix Jr did for a majority of this season, or start right out the gate and give hope to their new franchise like Jayden Daniels, teams are always going to be interested in the quarterback position.

While it feels like we have seen so much of Quinn Ewers, he is still just 21 years old and has proven to be successful, leading Texas to the College Football Playoff semifinals last season and now in the quarterfinals of the 12-team CFP this year. Ewers has shown the ability to dominate in the Big 12 as well as the SEC and has certainly turned a few scouts' heads.

Ewers has a great presence in the pocket and has shown the ability to make some off-platform throws. He doesn't hold onto the ball too long and can be effective in a collapsing pocket. With those positives, teams are going to look towards the top of the first round for him to be selected.

There are going to be a handful of quarterbacks in the discussion but this 2025 draft class is not as strong at the quarterback position. There is an argument that Quinn Ewers is the best quarterback in the class if he declares and could go as high as the top pick, depending on how the draft order shakes up.
