He was a semifinalist for both the Davey O’Brien Award and the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award. Ohio State University (2021 - 2022)

Quinn Ewers became a college student at the Ohio State University in August of 2021. He also joined the Ohio State Buckeyes football team of the college. He spent the time practicing with the team during the training camp before the 2021 season started. His coaches there initially felt that he was not ready to play in the season but he proved everyone wrong on November 20, 2021, by contributing two snaps for his team in a game against the Michigan State Spartans. This helped the team defeat the Michigan State Spartans with a score of 56-7. After this, he was considered to be an important part of the team by the coaches.

Quinn Ewers decided that he wanted to relocate to Texas in December 2021. A reason for this is that he stated that he wanted to be closer to home and family and Ohio was too far for him. This led to his departure and transfer from the Ohio State University.
