He attended Pike Road High School, where he was named first-team Class 5A All-State during his junior year. Quinshon Judkins chose the University of Mississippi's Ole Miss Rebels in 2022 over offers from programs like Auburn and Notre Dame, marking the beginning of his journey in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). He entered his freshman season in 2022 as a second-string running back. By the end of the season, he had set Ole Miss records with 1,567 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, earning him the title of SEC Freshman of the Year and numerous accolades, including the Conerly Trophy, awarded to the best college football player in Mississippi. During his sophomore season in 2023, Judkins rushed for 1,158 yards and 15 touchdowns.

In January 2024, Judkins announced his transfer to Ohio State University and continued his college football career with the Buckeyes. In the 2024 season for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Quinshon Judkins played in 16 games, rushing for 1,060 yards on 194 carries. He also had a 5.5 yards-per-carry average in rushing and a 73 yards-per-reception average in receiving. According to ESPN, Judkins declared himself for the 2025 NFL Draft.
