As the Las Vegas Raiders start a new path, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is a possible candidate to take over at quarterback for the franchise. This week, Sanders' father and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Deion, has been floated as a possible candidate to fill the Raiders' vacant head coaching gig.

Amy Trask, formerly the Raiders' CEO, isn't counting either out, especially with the Sanderses' connections to Las Vegas minority owner and 7-time Super Bowl-champion passer Tom Brady.

"Connectivity is important," Trask said Wednesday on SiriusXM's "Maggie and Perloff." "Those connections matter and, as you noted, there is a connection between Tom and Shedeur and Deion. ... You've really got kind of multi-step connectivity. You've got Tom connected to Mark through Jim Gray. You've got Deion and Shedeur connected to Tom connected to Mark.
"I would not be at all surprised to see if there's some movement there to see what could be done."

The elder Sanders, otherwise known as Coach Prime, has commented on the Tennessee Titans' open head coaching job. ESPN's Pat McAfee said on his sports talk show Wednesday that he thinks Las Vegas would be an ideal spot for Deion and Shedeur Sanders to end up in.

"Las Vegas is always gonna be pumping," McAfee said. "I mean, it's always gonna be great. I assume Raiders fans think, 'We're not that far away.' If they were to bring Prime in ... Obviously, Colorado wouldn't be thrilled and everything like that. But, that's a splash hiring. That gets Las Vegas pumped.
"Then they bring in Shedeur, it's like, 'Okay, we're gonna get the chance to experience this. That would be a massive headline-winner. ... If you get a good hire, you bring hope back to your team."

Coach Prime has gone on record as saying if it comes to it, he'll have some say on where his sons, including Shedeur Sanders, land in the NFL.

What does Tom Brady think of Shedeur Sanders?

Widely considered the greatest quarterback of all time, it wouldn't be surprising if Tom Brady were to have a say in picking the Raiders' next QB. So what does Brady think about Shedeur Sanders?

According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports, Brady appears to be a fan of the Colorado product. Brady reportedly has a "great amount of respect" for Sanders' focus, his ability to learn, and his toughness among other things.

Brady has also admired how Shedeur has dealt with the added pressure of playing with his father at Colorado, as well as the fact he stayed all four years in college to develop.
