Ryder Burton is a multi-skilled quarterback for the West Virginia Mountaineers. He will be redshirted as a freshman for the 2024 season. He played the 2023 season for the BYU Cougars and emerged as a top talent to hail from Springville, Utah. Burton was labeled a promising three-star recruit by 247Sports. His high school credentials at Springville showcased his immense potential as a quarterback, where he earned a spot in the all-region first-team. His most notable achievement was when he received the Offensive Most Valuable Player in the whole of Region 9. Burton didn't play a single game during the 2023 season, instead, he got the opportunity to train under a highly experienced head coach, Kalani Sitake.

He will be an important asset in the Mountaineers’ offense for the next few seasons.
