The SEC's Week 13 was a virtual disaster for several teams – Alabama, Texas A&M and Ole Miss all suffered difficult losses. But Texas and Georgia keep winning, and the league seems certain to get at least three teams into the College Football Playoff.

Here's the rundown on where the league stands entering the regular season's final week.

#16. Mississippi State (2-9)

The Bulldogs took another loss and are limping their way to the finish line. It's been a tough season, but QB Michael Van Buren has been a reason to keep watching.

#15. Kentucky (4-7)

Kentucky officially dropped off the bowl landscape with a relatively competitive loss to Texas. The Wildcat defense has been valiant, but the offense failed to crack 20 points in any SEC game – which is why Kentucky went 1-7 in the league.

#14. Auburn (5-6)

Poor Auburn. Even its moment of glory – that upset win over Texas A&M – doesn't jump the Tigers in the power rankings. After all, 13 SEC teams have clinched bowl eligibility and Auburn still has to beat Alabama to pull that off. Pulling an upset on the weekend when multiple other subpar teams did the same sticks the Tigers in place.

#13. Arkansas (6-5)

Arkansas won their game and still fell a spot, but at least there's bowl eligibility for the Hogs, and if they can best Missouri this week, they've got a real shot to shoot up several spots in the rankings.

#12. Vanderbilt (6-5)

The Commodores slide a few spots as they're likely to end up at 6-6. Even their big moment – besting Alabama – lost a little luster as Oklahoma just beat the Tide by 21 points. Speaking of which...

#11. Oklahoma (6-5)

The Sooners not only won, but they absolutely embarrassed Alabama and probably saved their coach's job. Holding Alabama to three points is always something memorable and should launch the Sooners into a solid bowl game.

#10. Florida (6-5)

Florida pulled off another impressive victory in likely knocking Ole Miss out of the CFP. A 7-5 season after an awful start and a brutal schedule is remarkably impressive.

#9. LSU (7-4)

Victory doesn't move the Tigers. It's hard to take this LSU team seriously, even when it staunched the bleeding enough to take down Vanderbilt. Still, a "bad" 8-4 season is something that some SEC fans would line up to accept.

#8. Missouri (8-3)

Speaking of victory not moving a team, Missouri (despite winning) is still clearly a decent step behind Texas A&M (despite losing). Even a 9-3 Missouri team has absolutely no shot at the CFP.

#7. Texas A&M (8-3)

How the Aggies lost to Auburn isn't the question. How they fell behind 21-0 is the issue. Injuries have hampered A&M a bit, but finishing with a pair of losses will certainly dampen an 8-4 season.

#6. Ole Miss (8-3)

The Rebels made it pretty clear that they don't belong in the CFP. Losing to Kentucky and Florida just isn't within the realm of what even a 12-team CFP can accommodate. The Rebels fell to a 6.2% chance at the playoff per ESPN's FPI, which seems about right.

#5. South Carolina (8-3)

On the other hand, if we get into a three-loss beauty contest, a surging South Carolina team jumps into the picture. If the Gamecocks can take down Clemson next week, they've got a legitimate CFP shot. ESPN gives them a 23.1% shot this week – virtually identical to Clemson's numbers.

#4. Alabama (8-3)

The Crimson Tide made life difficult. Losing to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma might just see Alabama kiss the CFP goodbye. The Tide are sitting at a 37.4% playoff chance per FPI. There's not an opportunity to add much boost against Auburn.

#3. Tennessee (9-2)

The Vols got an easy win and watched their best two-loss competition take upset defeats. Count Tennessee in the playoff now, if you hadn't before. Their ticket is punched, pending a win over Vandy.

#2. Georgia (9-2)

Not a banner week against UMass, but Georgia's ticket to the SEC title game is punched and even a loss there probably wouldn't knock them out of the playoff.

#1. Texas (10-1)

Texas is completely in the playoff and will go to Texas A&M to settle who plays Georgia in the SEC title game. The Horns are a solid favorite, although the noise of possible injury to Quinn Ewers is a little concerning.
