Sherrone Moore is the head coach for the Michigan Wolverines football team. Moore started his coaching career in 2009 as a Graduate Assistant (Offense) at the University of Louisville until 2011. He then became the tight ends coach at Louisville from 2012-2013. In 2014, Moore committed to Central Michigan University as the Tight Ends coach for three seasons. Moore was promoted as the Assistant Head Coach while being the Recruiting Coordinator and Tight Ends coach in 2017. In 2018, Moore was appointed to join the University of Michigan where he coached tight ends until 2020. After one season, he took up the position as the Co-offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line coach for two seasons. In 2024, Moore earned a breakthrough in his coaching career, as he was promoted to the Head Coach for Michigan.

His unit was ranked in the top 15 offenses for straight three years and twice for rushing touchdowns. Under Moore’s guidance, Michigan’s offensive unit became the first program to win consecutive Joe Moore Awards in 2021 and 2022. He helped all five starting offensive linemen be named in the All-Big Ten selection and six in the first-team list. Moore guided Michigan in the top five in tackling losses conceded and placed in the top 30 in sacks allowed, during the two seasons in which Moore was an offensive coordinator.
