Sherrone Moore is an American college football head coach for the Michigan Wolverines, as of 2024. The former player was born on February 3, 1986, in Derby, Kansas, U.S.
For four games, Moore also served as the university’s acting head coach during the team's national championship-winning 2023 season before he succeeded Jim Harbaugh this year as their manager.
Prior to coaching, Moore was a former footballer and played as an offensive guard at the University of Oklahoma from 2006 to 2007. Following his playing career, Moore became the assistant coach for the University of Louisville from 2009 to 2013.
Sherrone also managed Central Michigan University from 2014 to 2017 as their assistant coach before he joined the coaching staff in 2018. He was enlisted in the staff as the tight ends coach in Michigan and was later promoted to co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 2021.
