South Carolina transfer portal tracker: All players who entered the portal after 2024 football regular season

The South Carolina Gamecocks narrowly missed out on the college football playoff. The team ended the season with a 9-3 record and beat Clemson on the road in their season finale.

However, the Gamecocks' losses to Alabama and Ole Miss hurt their chances of making the playoff. Following the season's end, here is every player from South Carolina who has entered the transfer portal.

Robby Ashford entered the transfer portal after losing his starting job to LaNorris Sellers. Ashford went 23-for-32 for 324 yards and two touchdowns with the Gamecocks in 2024. He previously was at Auburn.

Bangally Kamara, LB

Linebacker Bangally Kamara has entered the transfer portal and is expected to commit to Kansas. Kamara recorded nine tackles last season.

Ni Mansell, OL

Ni Mansell enters the portal as a graduate transfer. The offensive lineman transferred to South Carolina in 2023 after playing at Mercer.

Mohamed Kaba, LB

Mohamed Kaba has entered the transfer portal. The linebacker hasn't played since 2022 due to injuries. He has been at South Carolina since 2020.

Reid Mikeska, TE

Freshman tight end Reid Mikeska is entering the transfer portal. He didn't record any stats in 2024.

Djay Braswell, RB

Djay Braswell has entered the portal after two years in South Carolina. Braswell didn't play in 2024, but in 2023, he rushed for 25 yards on 12 carries.

Nick Elksnis, TE

South Carolina receiver Tyshawn Russell has entered the portal too. The receiver didn't play in 2024 while in 2023, he recorded five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Jamall Whyce, DL

Defensive lineman Jamall Whyce has entered the transfer portal. Whyce recorded two tackles for the Gamecocks in 2024.

Daniel Lester, K

Daniel Lester has decided to enter the portal. Lester was the Gamecocks' backup kicker and didn't kick at all in 2024.
